Betty Lou has been in the healing profession for more than 50 years, graduating in 1972 from the U of A as a physiotherapist. She was a founding partner of Cornerstones Wellness Centre in 2001. She started the Occupational Rehab 1 program with WSBC in 1997. She became licensed to practice acupuncture in 1997. Parikshit brings 15 years of clinical experience with him. Working in various settings, such as hospitals, professional sports teams, and in musculoskeletal settings. Parikshit utilizes dry needling (IMS), manual therapy, exercise therapy and taping. He specializes in trigger point therapy, soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization techniques. He has an extensive experience in treating shoulder conditions, such as rotator cuff injuries, SLAP lesions and shoulder instabilities in athletes. Minaz is a certified Pediatric Physiotherapist, with over 15 years of experience in treating various conditions. As an independent practitioner, she has extensive experience treating musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, and cardiac conditions. Minaz worked in Pediatric rehabilitation centres, where she treated children with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and Down’s syndrome. She supervised the rehabilitation of the children to help them become more functionally independent and support them through reintegrating back into society. Minaz graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences [INDIA]. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy in 2004 and a Master’s Degree in Pediatric Physiotherapy in 2007. After practicing for a few years in India, she moved to Saudi Arabia in 2012.
